Medical Pharmacy offers multiple systems for providing oxygen therapy. We support that therapy with patient-focused clinical services and 24 hour emergency on-call support. Our goal is to provide our patients with an oxygen system that best meets their lifestyle.

When a patient comes on service with Medical Pharmacy, they are assigned a Respiratory Therapist. The therapist’s role is to work with the patient to ensure that their oxygen therapy is compliant with physician orders and to make sure the patient receives the maximum benefit from their therapy.
Many companies have cut back on the clinical support of oxygen patients by significantly reducing patient access to respiratory therapist - not at Medical Pharmacy. We believe that patients benefit from a collaborative effort between their oxygen provider and physician. In-home clinical support is the best tool for assessing compliance and ensuring that patients have the education and support necessary to get the best possible outcome from their therapy. Our therapists generally visit their patient at their home every three months. The outcome of the visit is documented and shared directly with the patient’s physician.
Service Technicians
Our service technicians are specially trained to instruct patients on oxygen therapy equipment. They understand the anxiety that many patients feel about starting oxygen therapy, and take care to communicate in a way the patient can understand.
When a patient needs additional cylinders or supplies, our technicians are just a phone call away. We have a fleet of five delivery trucks throughout Eastern Connecticut every day.
